Net Zero Community is an app designed for those who want to track their progress towards net zero. The app provides a platform to monitor the carbon footprint of communities and businesses who want to take a real step in responding to the global climate emergency. Net Zero Community facilitates activities to reduce carbon contribution – which could be local ride-sharing, community food networks, or freecycling, to name some examples – and allows users to share information to encourage wider and greater engagement, connecting ideas and people.

Net Zero Community also creates a tangible link between the community and a local renewable energy generator (REG). By linking to a local REG, communities can see the positive impact that the renewable electricity is having on helping them to achieve net zero.
