This page will provide updates on the project as it progresses.

On the 3rd and 4th May 2022, we held two public exhibitions, one in Wootton Bridge and one in Newport.

We have completed our environmental assessment work and reporting, and our application for planning permission has now been submitted to the Isle of Wight Council, which became 'live' on 14th October 2022. 

The application registration is 22/01585/FUL, and the application can be viewed here on the Isle of Wight Council website.

The application documents can also be viewed through this dedicated project website. We encourage everyone to view the documents and provide comments to the council, who will take comments into account when determining the application.

The Isle of Wight Council have indicated that they intend to determine the application by 6th January 2023.
