Marjorie Neasham Glasgow BEM
CEO
Marjorie co-founded RidgeWind in 2003 and served as Managing Director. RidgeWind developed over 200 MW of onshore wind power across the UK. Marjorie has been involved in starting, building and operating energy businesses since 1983. In 2019 she co-founded Ridge Clean Energy and then went on to co-found Ridge Carbon Capture in 2021.
Over her four-decade career she has worked with teams developing renewable energy projects, setting company direction given market and regulatory signals, and advising corporate customers on energy markets. Marjorie has lived in Oxfordshire, England, since 2004 and was previously based in Houston and northern California. She is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States.
Between 2013 and 2018 Marjorie served as Chairman of The Thomas Gifford Trust during which time the Trust raised funds, developed and constructed a new £2.5m community hub with a library, sports hall, studio and café. The centre opened in 2017. In 2019 she was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in recognition of her work with communities. In October 2021 Marjorie was appointed Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire.
Marjorie is a graduate of Stanford University.

Dine has over 35 years' experience building and developing energy businesses in the US, and in the UK since 2003. He co-founded RidgeWind Ltd in 2003 and was part of the senior management team until its sale in 2013. During his time there, RidgeWind became one of the UK’s largest independent renewables developers with over 100MW of operational wind assets, more than 60MW under construction, and in excess of 100MW in pre-construction at the time of its sale.

Dine has over 30 years' experience building and developing energy businesses in the US, and in the UK since 2003. He co-founded RidgeWind Ltd in 2003 and was part of the senior management team until its sale in 2013. During his time there, RidgeWind became one of the UK’s largest independent renewables developers with over 100MW of operational wind assets, more than 60MW under construction, and in excess of 100MW in pre-construction.
Prior to founding RidgeWind, Dine co-founded The Ridge Group LP, an energy investment company in Houston, Texas, in 1999. The Ridge Group has developed three separate companies: RidgeWind Ltd; EnerSea Transport LLP, a marine compressed natural gas technology and shipping business; and Ridge Energy Storage and Grid Services LP, a compressed air energy storage development company. Previous to The Ridge Group, he co-founded National Gas & Electric in 1988 (“NG&E”), helping grow the energy marketing company from a start-up company to an enterprise with annual sales of nearly $800 million.
In 2019 he co-founded Ridge Clean Energy and then went on to co-found Ridge Carbon Capture in 2021.
Dine has lived in Oxfordshire, England, since 2004 and was previously based in Houston, Texas. He is a Churchwarden at St Mary’s Church, Charlbury and enjoys golf and playing for the local tennis team. He is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States.
Dine is a graduate of Harvard College.

Nigel Goodhew
DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
Nigel has over 30 years of experience in the provision of farm business, management and project development. He has over 20 years of experience in applying agricultural knowledge to the renewable energy industry.
Nigel’s earlier career was in commodity trading with one of the largest purchasers of grain for mills and export with Souflett, the French agricultural commodities/export giant. In 2003, he was invited by the Glasgows at the inception stage to help establish RidgeWind and was part of the senior management team until its sale in 2013. During his time there, RidgeWind became one of the UK’s largest independent renewables developers with over 100MW of operational wind assets, more than 60MW under construction, and in excess of 100MW in pre-construction. With the added advantage of his farming experience it helps to fully understand the needs of our clients from farmers and landowners to planners and local communities.
Richard Barker
PROJECT MANAGER
Richard has been developing and managing the development of onshore wind energy projects for over 20 years, mainly in the UK and latterly in Australia.

Richard has been developing and managing the development of onshore wind energy projects for over 20 years, mainly in the UK and latterly in Australia.
His work has involved all aspects of the development cycle from site identification and feasibility, through to environmental management, planning and financial close, with more than 500MW of projects that he has worked on now operating and generating low carbon electricity.

Bruce is a member of the Institution of Highways & Transportation and has experience across the full project life-cycle, including Due Diligence and contract negotiation. Bruce has extensive project management experience and brings a wealth of knowledge, and strong leadership to his projects.

He has carried responsibility for all electrical engineering functions in a wide range of renewable energy generation projects from conception through to operation and maintenance. The projects have ranged from 0.5MW to 250MW at export voltages from 11kV to 220kV. Eric has helped deliver some 500MW of renewable energy projects, most of which are in the UK.

Jonny Murphy
PROJECT MANAGER
Jonny is a Chartered Environmentalist with over 10 years experience in project management and environmental coordination. With a career spanning the renewable and energy sectors, as well as the minerals and urban regeneration sectors, he has applied knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment process at the local and national levels.

Jonny's renewable energy development experience includes 150MW of project work. He has a particular interest in working with communities that host developments to result in mutual benefits that drive the broader sustainability agenda.

Betsy Glasgow
PEATLAND RESTORATION LEAD & GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Betsy joined RCE following a fascinating career in Parliament, working in the Westminster offices of former Prime Minister David Cameron and Robert Courts MP.
Betsy is thrilled to be working on renewables, and her background in government policy and work with local communities gives her an excellent foundation. Betsy graduated from Oxford University with a degree in French and Italian.

Daniela has experience as Executive Director of a local charity with responsibility of managing the £2.5 m community hub which includes a library, sports hall, café, and studio.

Daniela has experience as Executive Director of a local charity with responsibility of managing the £2.5 m community hub which includes a library, sports hall, café, and studio.
Daniela was involved in the fundraising and development of the centre in both a paid and volunteer position.
Prior to that role, Daniela worked in public relations, marketing and office management. Daniela is a very active community volunteer, having founded a community café and working with local school children. Born in Austria, Daniela speaks English, German, and French. Daniela is married to Paul Jenkins and they have three children.

Teresa Hall
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP COORDINATOR & ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Teresa has worked closely with communities local to renewable energy sites, recognising and addressing areas of need from pre-construction through to operation. Teresa joined RidgeWind in 2005, serving as the Community Relations Manager.
Teresa joined Ridge Clean Energy in 2021 as a Community Engagement Coordinator and strives to build positive relationships and enable improved services and opportunities for those living in the vicinity of RCE sites. Alongside her current role at Ridge Clean Energy, Teresa works as a primary school teacher and enjoys being part of a thriving school community.
Having come from a farming background and through her experience of living in the countryside, Teresa brings a strong understanding of rural life and the problems it can present for daily activities. Teresa is married to Chris and they have two children and a collection of animals.

She travelled extensively in South America and the rest of the world over her first career, loved meeting people and seeing how different communities lived, adapted and, in some cases, survived. Settling in West Oxfordshire over ten years ago, Becks grew a traditional upholstery business from a hobby. She continues to raise two children with her husband James.

Toby Harrison-Turner
PROJECT MANAGER & LEAD ANALYST
Toby joined the Ridge Clean Energy team after graduating from The University of the West of England (UWE) with a degree in Geography and Planning.
During his time at university, Toby developed an in-depth knowledge and understanding of sustainable development, community engagement and planning, writing his dissertation around these topics. Toby is very passionate about the environment and he thoroughly enjoys working on the renewable energy project development team.

Cooper joined RCE after graduating from the School of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Alberta. Through his prior work in community development and policy planning, Cooper brings experience in community-based research, data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

His research experience spans the spectrum of affordable housing, universal design, active transportation, and placemaking. Cooper recognises the key connection between energy generation, our climate, and investment in the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Determined to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable society, Ed studied Environmental Science and Ecology at the University of Edinburgh with a joint honours in Business Management.

Determined to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable society, Ed studied Environmental Science and Ecology at the University of Edinburgh with a joint honours in Business Management.
There, his research ranged from investigating the effectiveness of biological controls in salmon farming to methods to decarbonise his university department. After graduating, Ed helped to establish a carbon unit trading platform where he gained a detailed understanding of the carbon market.
Ed joined the Peatland Restoration team at Ridge Clean Energy in 2021. He is thrilled to be contributing to direct emission reductions across the UK and helping improve the health of some of the UK's most unique ecosystems.

Paul qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2000 whilst working for the largest independent SME B2B energy supplier in the UK, Opus Energy Group Limited. During his time there, Paul nurtured the finance team to support the transformational growth of Opus Energy from £70m to over £600m turnover in ten years. He also aided the £384m sale of Opus Energy to Drax PLC in February 2017.

Paul qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2000 whilst working for the largest independent SME B2B energy supplier in the UK, Opus Energy Group Limited. During his time there, Paul nurtured the finance team to support the transformational growth of Opus Energy from £70m to over £600 turnover in ten years. He also aided the £384m sale of Opus Energy to Drax PLC in February 2017.
Paul subsequently worked for a NASDAQ listed clinical stage drug discovery company, Summit Therapeutics PLC, where his provided business partnering and financial support to the group. He contributed to the £6m acquisition of Discuva Limited, integrating, their people, systems, and processes into Summit Therapeutics.
Most recently Paul served as the CFO for Toople PLC a FTSE listed broadband and telecommunications company.

Carina Loweth
LEGALS
Carina joined RCE in the Summer of 2021 and provides legal support for our renewable energy and peatland projects.
She is a former Intellectual Property lawyer and jumped at the opportunity to be part of the RCE team contributing towards creating a more sustainable future for both the environment and local communities. Carina has lived in Charlbury for over 15 years and loves her carbon neutral walk to work.
Carina brings her own international flavour to the RCE having grown up in Geneva, Switzerland. She speaks French fluently along with some rusty German.

Hope Jones
OFFICE MANAGER
Hope joined The Ridge Group as the Office Manager in March 2023.
Her previous roles were varied and included Domestic Bursar for a charity and an Emergency Ambulance Technician. She has experience ranging from working in close contact with patients in the hospital and emergency services sectors, to planning and managing events for conferences and private events. Other roles included office, budget and team management.
She lives locally with her partner, two children and their menagerie of animals.
